ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Christian Capozzoli is an American actor, author, writer and improviser. He was born in Rochester, NY to Rita and Louis Capozzoli. He is of Italian, German and Polish descent. As a child he loved storytelling and film but his academic path led to a B.F.A. in Writing, Literature and Publishing from Emerson College and a Masters in Literature and Education from Harvard University. He did not pursue film or theatre until his late 20s when he discovered improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. A decade later Christian Capozzoli’s improvisation methods are now taught the world over. 
 
He has worked along side of legendary comedic instructors Mick Napier, Charna Halpern and Armando Diaz. He has written films, television pilots, and plays and many essays and short stories. His comedic work has received rave reviews from both the New York Times and New York Post. 
 
He has had the fortune to work with top comedic voices in TV and Film, including Stephen Colbert, Lena Dunham, Robert Smigel and Adam Sandler.
